Background:

Melanie Partamian is an Egyptian, Armenian, and Greek visual artist and aspiring curator. She holds a BA in Political Science from Cairo University and Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, along with a master’s degree in Theory of Arts and Culture from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, with a thesis on Surrealism in Egypt.

Artistic Practice:

In her practice, Partamian explores themes of identity and layers within herself and her surroundings, across several mediums like paintings, installations, and mixed media.

She has participated in five group exhibitions:
